A Map of "the Wiggle" Bike Route in San Francisco

Although not strictly one of my TypeMaps, I am including it here because it is an attempt to represent the very real geography of a place (in this case, the way to avoid hills). "The Wiggle" as it is known locally is on of many bike routes in San Francisco that help you avoid hills on your way between two points. The Wiggle connects Golden Gate Park and the Western part of the City with Market Street and downtown San Francisco. Buena Vista Park, a major hill is located just to the left of Duboce Park and below "The Haight" on the map. Almost every street to the left of the "Wiggle" heads uphill towards the park, sometimes steeply.
